Function of turbine blade

Under the action of high temperature and high pressure steam, steam turbine blades bear large bending moment in work, and moving blades in high-speed operation also bear high centrifugal force; the blades in wet steam area, especially the last stage, are subject to electrochemical corrosion and water drop erosion, and the moving blades also bear complex excitation forces. Therefore, the blade steel should meet the following requirements:
1. It has enough mechanical properties and creep resistance at room temperature and high temperature;
2. It has high anti vibration attenuation ability;
3. High tissue stability;
4. Good corrosion resistance and erosion resistance;
5. Good process performance.
